Here at Heartridge we have been breeding, raising and training purebred "Old Style" working German Shepherds for Police Services throughout Canada and the United States for over 30 years. We strive to produce only the best quality German Shepherds capable of doing the work required of them with NO unnatural turning of the hip that causes hip dysplasia, and with sound, trainable minds. We have produced and trained German Shepherds to fill roles such as Police Dog, Search and Rescue, Estate Protector, Livestock Protector, Herding Dog, Family Protector, Companion and/or Childs Best Friend. Our Canines are the real deal, not an imitation that so many other breeders try to pass as a "Working German Shepherd". These are Working, Family Protectors, not Show Dogs.
Although we have retired from training outside dogs and are now breeding and raising German Shepherds
on a much smaller scale, we are still able to provide to the public, reliable, sound, safe, sane, and loyal dogs for you and your family.
